What is There To Do in Topinabee?

A ton, as it turns out! The beauty of Topinabee is that it's small enough to feel like home, but it's close to everything there is to see in the north. Of course, it's right near the Inland Waterway. That means that there's swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, innertubing (tubers, allow us to suggest the Sturgeon River, the fastest in the Lower Penninsula).

If you're not a water rat, you can enjoy bike trails, hiking, state parks, and golfing; but make sure to leave time for shopping and sightseeing in Mackinaw City or Petoskey / Harbor Springs.

In the winter, enjoy snowmobiling (we're right next to the Cheboygan/Indian River Snowmobile Trail), skiing (Nub's Nob -- three-time winner of the Midwest's best resort, is just a half hour away), ice fishing, and cross-country skiing (ask your host about the best trails; he knows them all).

And that's not even mentioning all the nearby attractions like the Mackinac Bridge, Mackinac Island, the Cross In The Woods, scenic M-119 and Leg's Inn, slightly longer day trips to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, U.P. waterfalls, and on and on and on. In short, you'll find that there's as much to do as you want to do!
